Small group 4WD safaris through Australia's remote wilderness

Sacred Earth Safaris can cater for small and medium groups up to 23 guests in their 6WD coach, which is fully equipped for maximum comfort in the rugged outback.

Sacred Earth Safaris offers a range of scheduled tours and specialises in private charter touring, where the itinerary is designed to suit each client's interests. These are ideal for families, groups of friends, school groups, social clubs and special interest groups, such as photographers.

Tours are designed for those of average fitness, with a range of activities and experiences included.

Kimberley safaris

Scheduled 10-day Kimberley 4WD Safaris travel from Broome to Darwin and carry a maximum of 15 guests with an experienced driver-guide, in a Tatra 6WD coach. In 2022, there is a departure from Broome to Darwin on 4th July and from Darwin to Broome on 6th August.

Every night, you will enjoy comfortable accommodation in station rooms, motel rooms and cabins with en-suites. As groups are small, there's plenty of time to see and do everything.

Kakadu and Top End private tours

Kakadu and Top End tours are available, ranging from 2-7 days, departing Darwin and exploring Kakadu, Katherine, Litchfield and Mary River.

Private tour accommodation options include Bush Bungalows, fixed safari tents, cattle station accommodation, wilderness resorts and hotel motels.

All Kakadu and Top End tours include a wide range of activities and experiences including Aboriginal rock art, swimming in pristine rockpools and under waterfalls, hiking, wildlife cruises and hands-on cultural experiences with local Aboriginal people.

Red Centre tours

Private Red Centre tours are available between April and October. In 2022, there is a scheduled 6-day tour starting in Alice Springs on 13th May, with a maximum of 15 guests. Highlights include Uluru Kata Tjuta NP, Kings Canyon, Rainbow Valley, The West Macs and travelling the unsealed Mereenie Loop Road, for a true Outback Aussie experience.

South Australia, Flinders Ranges and Nullarbor scheduled and private tours

Scheduled and private tours are offered through South Australia, including a wide range of activities and experiences such as wine tasting, a steam train trip, penguin tours, bird watching, cruises, swimming with dolphins, adventure caving and more.

Scheduled 11-day South Australian Outback tours, in April and October 2022, are fully accommodated and travel along the legendary Oodnadatta, Birdsville and Strzelecki Tracks, following in the footsteps of pioneers and explorers. The tour includes many excellent photographic opportunities. Highlights include Coober Pedy and the Breakaways, William Creek, Lake Eyre, Birdsville, Innamincka and the Burke & Wills Dig Tree, Arkaroola and the Flinders Ranges.

Sacred Earth Safaris also offers scheduled 9-day tours across the Nullarbor.

Tasmania private tours

Private tours are offered to Tasmania between November and April, for a maximum of 15 guests travelling in a 6WD coach. Tours are fully accommodated and include all accommodation and activities, entry fees and most meals. Highlights can include Stanley, Cradle Mountain, Corinna and the Tarkine Wilderness, the “Edge of the World” (Gardiner Point), Dip Falls, Gordon River Dam and cruise, Strahan, a steam train ride from Strahan to Queenstown, Leven Canyon, Russell Falls, Gunns Plains Caves, Lake St Clair and Hobart, with a focus on the wilderness regions including the rugged west coast.

Pilbara scheduled and private tours

Private Pilbara tours are offered between May and September. In 2022, there is also a scheduled Pilbara tour, from Karratha to Port Hedland, starting on 17th August, with a maximum of 15 guests.
